As we approach the summer of 2020, we will still be doubtful about the future of the Rotary members-to-member link. It is clear, however that our hands-to-face ritual is going to remain part of the routine. However, the nature of Rotary has evolved. As we move into this summer there is a lot of doubt concerning whether Rotary can provide the same human connection that Rotary members experienced in the past continues. It is clear, however that the hand-to-face ritual is going to remain the norm for Rotary. Rotary's face has changed. Rotary has changed. We've improved our methods of holding the business meetings online' whilst reintroducing the social and service aspects using a friendly face-toface approach. We have taken the new opportunities, and have combined them with our practices to create an optimistic future for Rotary! An earlier Rotary survey revealed that approximately 75% of clubs had plans to carry on regular business. Check out this piece 1. In a Rotary survey that was conducted in the past, it was rewarding to discover the fact that 75% the clubs had plans for their regular programs and activities that have previously benefited communities across Great Britain and Ireland. It's great to know that the Rotary support centre team provides useful resources that aid in the maintenance and promotion of infrastructure and keeping both members and the public safe. The need for insurance and compliance is equally important. The creativity and innovation of our members to find solutions to the most difficult challenges is incredible and I am extremely happy that the chance to become a member of Rotary was given to me in 2002. Rotary also has provided me with a wonderful circle of friends that have a similar outlook. I am extremely grateful for this.
