Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in several TV shows. Her family fled Afghanistan, and seeking asylum in the US. She was born in the US. Her family raised her with two sisters and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in TV by playing in a number of National Commercials. Ghanizada received a nomination for top actress in the film festival in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she was the character Chiara. The TV shows she guest starred in are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych as well as Castle. Recent roles include an appearance as a character on the show Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). In 2008 Ghanizada became part of the cast for The General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. As Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care in the second season of Night Shift.
